You lead a business. At home, care never stops.

A private intensive for parents who run a business while caring for a child or adult child with significant support needs. You make consequential decisions every day. At home, the two of you have little left for each other, or for the decisions you share.

You may recognise this

You come home carrying work pressure and meet a partner already exhausted by care.

You divide the responsibilities but struggle to feel like a team.

Guilt follows you between work and home. Wherever you are, someone else needs you.

Appointments, uncertainty and decisions take the space that once held connection.

There is something important the two of you keep putting off together.

What we work with

One shared matter that has not moved. It might be planning for life after school, a care plan, a guardianship or estate decision, a change in who carries what at home or at work, or a conversation you have both been avoiding.

We work with what happens in each of you, and between you, when you meet it. When a step becomes available, you can choose to take it together while I am with you. Your choices remain yours throughout.

The engagement

Before we meet: each of you completes a private intake, and we hold one short joint conversation to agree on the shared matter. What each of you shares privately stays private unless you choose to share it.

Separately: a private half day with each of you. You leave with a pause practice built for how pressure shows up in you.

Seven days of practice: you each use your practice in real moments at work and at home.

Together: one full day. We begin with what each of you noticed, build a practice you can share as a couple and a family, then meet the shared matter.

Afterward: seven days of private message access, and one integration conversation about a month later.

What you leave with

A step on the matter you brought, if you choose to take one.

A pause practice for each of you, and one you share.

A record you each write in your own words of what you recognised and chose.

Why Patricia

I have spent twenty-seven years inside complex care with my daughter, alongside earlier work in technology and engineering at the NBA. I know the appointments, the advocacy and the uncertainty that continue while you are also leading something. I am the creator of The Pause Is the Answer™ and I am certified in hypnotherapy.

Investment

35,000 USD per family engagement, including preparation, an individual half day with each parent, one joint day, seven days of message access and one integration conversation.

This is not couples therapy, medical care or professional advice, and it does not replace them. An engagement may be declined when another kind of support is more appropriate.

Rescheduling

Life with complex care is unpredictable. Each session may be rescheduled once without penalty, with at least 48 hours' notice. If your child has a medical emergency, we will find a new date together.

Begin with a private conversation

Family Anchor begins with a private screening conversation, to understand your family's situation and whether this engagement is the right fit.

The screening conversation carries a separate 500 USD fee, which is not credited toward the 35,000 USD engagement fee.
